A skier’s dream paradise
The time has come to dust off the boards, wax them and get them ready to leave everything ready, because in less than 30 days we are going skiing. Have you considered taking skiing or snowboarding lessons?
Even if you already know how to ski, they will be a great way to improve your technique. You can take group lessons, where you are with a group of people of the same level as you. Or more personalised private lessons for a maximum of 6 people. For children there are circuits and snow schools for them to have fun while they learn. Are you coming?
If you don’t ski, you can also make the most of the snow
Enjoy some unforgettable days in the snow, trying out new activities for all the family. The resorts offer a wide range of snow activities for all tastes and also during the weekend.
If you haven’t tried it yet, we recommend an excursion on snowshoes in any of the resorts: Grandvalira or Vallnord or Naturlandia, the adventure park. In any of them you’ll discover incredible mountain spots and many more activities. Try paragliding in El Tarter or, if you’re a fan of cycling, try the Snow Trike in Vallnord-Pal Arinsal.
In Andorra you’ll find endless options for having a great time if you don’t ski. Each resort has its own package of activities for adults and children, and you’re sure to find your own!
The best après-ski
And it’s not just about snow! Once the slopes close, you can continue to enjoy yourself with these plans that we suggest.
- In Caldea, the thermal waters and the contrast of temperatures will help you recover after a day of activities.
- Take the opportunity to do your Christmas shopping and have a glass of mulled wine at the Christmas market in the capital.
- Or challenge your children to a go-kart race at the skating rink in Canillo.
In the El Tarter area, where the hotel is located, you’ll find Andorra’s most famous après-ski centre: l’Abarset. Renovated in 2023, it has expanded its facilities. It is now a two-storey space with an outdoor terrace offering gastronomy throughout the day and where après-ski starts with music sessions once the ski slopes close.
