In the 70’s, our grandfather, Daniel Mateu Escur, fulfilling the dream of our father who from a small age wanted to dedicate himself to the hospitality industry, gives life to what from that moment on would be the family business.
On July 7th, 1974, our parents, Daniel and Anna, inaugurated the Hotel del Tarter, a mountain hotel at the bottom of the El Tarter ski slopes (now included in Grandvalira) and to which they dedicate their bodies and souls so every one of the customers feel at home.
After 4 years of leasing, we, Dani and Eli, took over the hotel, and worked day by day with the same illusion that our parents did years ago to maintain the essence of the Hotel del Tarter: a family friendly hotel, warm and close to our customers that bets on quality above everything else.
