A summer in Andorra full of outdoor activities

The warm weather is on its way, and with it come Grandvalira’s new summer attractions. From family-friendly activities to new mountain bike trails and outdoor pursuits to suit all tastes. Will you try them all?

Let’s start with Grandvalira activities closest to the El Tarter hotel

El Tarter Big Jump Park

Grandvalira is launching an 800 m² inflatable park, located in the car park of the El Tarter sector of Grandvalira. Very close to the hotel 😉. It combines jumps, obstacles and circuits set to music. It’s an activity for families, teenagers and groups of friends. It promises to be one of the must-visit spots this summer.

More e-bike trails for cycling enthusiasts

The resort is adding 3 new trails:

  • Tamarro Flow Trail: runs from Llosada to El Tarter, covering 6 kilometres and rated as intermediate.
  • Cabrirol Loop: located in Soldeu, it’s a green-level trail suitable for the whole family.
  • Molleres Loop: at Forn de Canillo.

With these new routes, Grandvalira now boasts an e-bike network of 114 kilometres spread across the sectors of Canillo, Soldeu, El Tarter, Encamp and Grau Roig.

New maze in Soldeu

This is sure to be an activity where the whole family will have a great time. The maze is situated on the Soldeu plateau, at the foot of the Avet slope. It is a wooden structure where, by following clues and taking part in orienteering games, you can explore a course featuring secret areas. It is a 30- to 45-minute activity, ideal for combining with other activities in Grandvalira.

Improvements to the Soldeu golf course

We also have news for golf enthusiasts. The course has added a brand-new floating green on the lake to offer players a different kind of challenge over water.

New trail featuring the “Ossa de Encamp”

This summer you can also discover the new “Petjades Enlairades” route, a circuit that invites you to connect with the Andorran landscape and culture. At the end of the route, at the highest point of the Funicamp, a new three-metre sculpture dedicated to the Ossa de Encamp awaits you.

Activity opening dates

On 20 June, Grandvalira will kick off the summer season with the opening of Mon(t) Magic Family Park, Soldeu Golf and the vast majority of other activities. We recommend checking their website.

Pal Arinsal is the ultimate mountain biking destination

The Bike Park has improved its trails and created a new blue-level circuit, as well as a new area for beginners and families. Ideal for those wishing to try their hand at the various disciplines of mountain biking.
The Bike Park opens on 20 June.
This season, Pal Arinsal will host several cycling events, such as:

  • The ANDbike festival: 20 and 21 June.
  • The Warriors 2.0 Downhill Trophy: 20 June
  • It will host the Mountain Bike World Cup once again from 9 to 12 July.

Summer is also in full swing in Ordino Arcalís

Activities are centred around the Tristaina solar viewpoint. The improvements that have been made are technological in nature, such as a Wi-Fi hotspot at the viewpoint. The access lifts have been open since 6 June and the resort will also be offering guided tours with the Grandvalira Mountain Guides. Remember that this is the only circular viewpoint in Andorra, situated at an altitude of 2,701 metres, and it was inaugurated in 2021.

See you from 10 July!

We look forward to welcoming you to fill your days with activities and festivities, and to ensure you get the rest you need to start the next day full of energy.
