It is the largest mountain bike park in the Pyrenees, where you can combine all MTB disciplines – downhill, freeride, enduro, rally and cross-country – with suitable tracks for all levels. This summer it is offering 13 new routes, so fun is guaranteed. During the months of July and August. the Cirque is back in Andorra with an original show created exclusively for our small country. Scalada Mater Natura is the name of this new show, which will be represented a total of 17 times throughout the months of July and August. It will be a totally new representation, with nature as the main thread of the story, and it will be full of elements and references to Andorra. It is important to remember that, as happened last year, this show can only be seen in Andorra during the 5 weeks of scheduled functions . This year, the scenario summer will be much more spectacular, with more than 19 meters high, and before the start of the functions, animation are programmed to make the wait more enjoyable. If you are fans of Cirque du Soleil, you cannot not miss this unique outdoor show . The performances will take place every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 05 July to 2 August. Discover all the activities planned for the tenth anniversary of the Grandvalira Total Fight – Masters of freestye – from 27 to 29 March in El Tarter. Within a few days, the Grandvalira Total Fight Snowboard celebrates its 10 years, with very interesting news. The best snowboarders in the world will meet in the Grandvalira Total Fight from 27 to 29 March. This contest is part of the  World Snowboard Tour, with 5 stars distinction, for a maximum of 6. Only some days later, from 3 to 5 April, the same scenario will host the best freeski specialists .     In parallel , on 28 and 29 March , you will live a unique experience combining music and skiing during the day and music at night in the same parking lot of the Tarter in ElectroSnow festival. This electronic music festival will feature DJs Ricardo Villalobos, Simian Mobile Disco, Max Cooper-Rone o Sonja Moonear. From 10 February to 16 March, Grandvalira host the finals of the Alpine Skiing European Cup, both the men’s and women’s category. A week of high competition in Soldeu and in El Tarter. L’Àliga track test ahead of the 2016 World Cup The track of the Àliga-Tarter, whose latest meters can be viewed from our terrace, will debut as a racetrack as rehearsal for the upcoming World Cup to be held in February 2016 in Grandvalira. This track will host testing Downhill and Super Giant male and female. To this end, the path it has been modified and improved to reach a total of 2.9 km, 50 meters wide and with a cumulative elevation changes, uneven walls and planes. In addition, at the request of the FIS World Cup 2016, the last section of the old path of the Àliga track will be recovered as a test for the Super Combined, and all sections with be equiped with a new installation of snowmaking. In Soldeu, l’Avet has established itself as a perfect track for the show The mythic Avet slope of Grandvalira Soldeu sector, which has already been tested by best world skiers, is confirmed as one of the toughest tracks on the circuit in the slalom and giant modes. Its classic layout and steep slope up to 60 % in any of the sections ensure the excitement and enjoyment of viewers. Andorra is a perfect place to enjoy a week in Grandvalira ski destination, the largest ski area in the Pyrennes with over 200 km of slopes for all levels and with areas specifically designed for children. Encamp Carnival is a continuous four-day party starting on Saturday 1st March 1 begins with the Hanging of the Carnival at 12 noon. Costume exhibitions, dances, mobile disco, the Burial of the Sardine …. are just some of the events taking place earlier this month to celebrate the Carnival of Encamp. You can also partcipate in any of the events of the Carnival Canillo, just a couple of minutes from the hotel. In Canillo on Saturday 1 March at 16h00, you’ll find the Harlequins a beloved figure who perfectly represents the fun and chaos of these dates.
