During the winter, there is nothing that we want more than spending the day skiing in Grandvalira. But what can we do when the slopes are closed?
At the Hotel El Tarter we propose you to visit Caldea, the largest thermal center in southern Europe and one of the most emblematic sites in Andorra.
The thermal water
In the center of our small country, more specifically in Escaldes-Engordany, thermal water rise at more than 70ºC. These are precisely those that are used in Caldea by their composition. Their high levels of minerals such as sodium, calcium and potassium among many others, give them the perfect qualities for you to recover after a day of skiing. Once you immerse yourself in the central lagoon of the thermoludic space, you will feel as the fatigue fades from your muscles and as the accumulated tension disappears.
The installations
The thermal space of Caldea offers you different areas to know the thermoludism, the most fun side of the thermalism. Discover the effects of temperature changes on your body in indomoric baths, feel how eucalyptus fills your lungs in the hammam or simply stretch out on one of the bubble beds of the outer lagoon while admiring the surrounding mountains. The possibilities are endless!
For children
Caldea has a new space totally designed for the little ones: LIKIDS. In it, while the parents walk through the rest of the facilities, the youngest ones will be able to play with other children of their age, listen to a story or discover the world of the treatments with masks of yogurt or manicures. An experience that will familiarize them with the spa world.
