Discover natural sites very close to the hotel
Andorra is all about mountains and lots of trails and circuits for outdoor and nature lovers.
The Camí del Gall is accessible to the whole family, with lots of signs to interpret the nature and the views. It takes after the name of the mountain rooster, a species native to the Pyrenees.
The starting point is the Telecabina de Canillo car park and the end point is the village of Soldeu, although you can also take it from El Tarter, a few metres far from the hotel. Along the route you will come across the Romanesque church of Sant Joan de Caselles, a wooden bridge, a tunnel and, above all, impressive views.
The path is easy, with very little unevenness and does not reach 6 km.
On the way back you can come from where you came or take the bus in Soldeu, which passes by every hour.
Travel through the culture in the Thyssen Museum of Andorra
This is a plan for the beginning of September, as you will only be able to see this annual exhibition until the 6th. It is about: “Influencers” in art, from Van Goyen to Pop art. With a total of 27 works, three of them are sculptures, it makes a review along the history and different artists to show how they have influenced the world of art. You will find artworks by Rodin, Monet, Casas and Andy Warhol, among others.
Afterwards, take the opportunity to visit the old town of Escaldes-Engordany, do some shopping or take a bath in the thermal centre.
New panoramic lagoon in Caldea
You’re gonna love this plan! This year Caldea has a new attraction: a panoramic lagoon with 360º views that flies over the river on its transparent bottom. That means more thermal water and bubbles where you can swim and enjoy a nice time. And yes! You can also go with your children if they are at least 5 years old.
