Note in your diary the most important cycling events in Andorra

This summer is full of cycling events. Looks like we’ll be enjoying this summer almost as normal, which will make it possible to hold a number of sporting events.
So get ready, because it’s time to ride!

New cycling competitions in Andorra

This year everything revolves around two wheels.
In late June the “Andorra 21 Ports” will take place. It is new individual road cycling race consisting of 3 stages and taking place over 3 days. The riders will be able to enjoy breathtaking landscapes and passes that have been part of major competitions such as the Tour de France or the Vuelta a España.
Another new event this year is the “Andorra Mtb Classic-Pyrenees”. A mountain bike race in pairs with 4 stages to be held from 30 June to 3 July. This MTB competition is part of the Epic Series.
Also this summer there is a new mountain bike cycling event: “La Mussara” which will take place in Naturlandia and will have 3 different circuits.

The classic: “la Volta als Ports”
Another of the most eagerly awaited cycle rallies, with more than 40 years of history. It will take place on 18 July.
This year’s edition is presented with renewed circuits: a total of 5 routes of varying difficulty and mileage, all starting from La Massana and finishing in Andorra la Vella.

The Tour de France returns to Andorra
The Tour de France will celebrate the end of its 15th stage on 11 July in the Principality. It will come in at Pas de la Casa, go down the Envalira pass and ride through Soldeu, Canillo and Encamp. The riders will then go up the Collada de Beixalís to go back down through Anyós, passing through Escaldes and finishing in the Parc Central in Andorra la Vella.
After a rest day in the country, they will set off again on 13 July from Pas de la Casa.

Plan your summer cycling holiday
Whether you want to experience one of these events first-hand or you prefer to experience thrills on two wheels, you can do just that in Andorra.
You’ll find roads and mountain passes to put your road bike to the test. And there are also trails and downhill tracks at the Vallnord Bike Park, with a total of 29 circuits covering all types and levels.
In Vallnord you’ll also find circuits for e-bikes, which are very safe and ideal if you’re taking up this new discipline.

This summer it’s time to get your bike out again and enjoy cycling in Andorra.
We are waiting for you!
