Grandvalira’s ski slopes are just a few days away from opening. December 3 is the date set for the opening of the new winter season. We’ll tell you about all the new features you’ll find this year so you can get your boards and boots ready.
Grandvalira will host major competitions
In the new 2021-22 season, Grandvalira will once again be the setting for major sporting events.
The men’s and women’s European Cup finals will be held from 14 to 20 March 2022. And we already know that in 2023 it will also host the men’s and women’s Alpine Ski World Cup finals. As usual, the competitions will take place on the “Avet” ski slope in Soldeu and “Àliga” in El Tarter.
On the other hand, the Riberal slope in the Grau Roig sector will be the venue for the final of the World Cup Kilometre Throwing from 31 March to 2 April.
These are 3 very important competitions in the world of skiing that you will be able to see in Grandvalira.
Extend your days with the best après-ski in El Tarter
The now legendary meeting point for skiers: L’Abarset, which closed its doors in March 2020, reopens completely renovated in a new location but without leaving the El Tarter sector, very close to the hotel. The best après-ski offer in Grandvalira is back for you to enjoy the best experiences after your day in the snow. It’s another incentive to go skiing in Andorra again.
