December is coming up. And with it we reopen the doors of the Hotel del Tarter on the 5th December, after the autumn break. So, get ready to spend a few days of fun in the snow with us at the foot of the Grandvalira slopes.
The slopes open on the 2nd of December
Weather permitting, you’ll be able to spend the entire December long weekend skiing. As you know, our location is unbeatable: at the foot of the slopes in the Tarter sector. Ideal for getting to the slopes quickly and not missing a single minute of snow.
As a new feature for the 2022/23 season, Grandvalira Resorts has introduced the single ski pass, after incorporating the Pal Arinsal resort into its management, as it did with Ordino Arcalís. So this winter, with the Grandvalira multi-day ski pass, from two days you can also ski in Pal Arinsal and Ordino Arcalís.
Snow activities in Grandvalira
In winter, you can ski every day or combine skiing with other experiences. In Grandvalira you will find a wide range of proposals to experience the mountain and the snow in a different way, available in all its sectors. Discover the snowshoeing and ski mountaineering circuits, or take a ride through the forests of Andorra on a dog sledge or snowmobile.
The most fashionable après-ski
Andorra offers a host of activities to keep you having fun when you take off your ski boots. From shopping, to a varied cultural offer, discovering the local gastronomy or ending the day in a spa.
In the El Tarter sector, where the hotel is located, you will find the most famous après-ski centre in Andorra: l’Abarset. Recently renovated, it has expanded its facilities. It is now a two-storey space with an outdoor terrace offering gastronomy all day long and where après-ski starts with music sessions once the ski slopes close.
