Fathers’ Day with a getaway to Andorra with the whole family

This year surprise dad with a spring break to celebrate Father’s Day. Check out the best family plans for March in Andorra.

Igloo building in Grandvalira
You’ll discover the secrets behind building with snow blocks. You’ll have an hour and a half to transform the snow into an igloo in the Grau Roig sector of Grandvalira. You don’t need a ski pass to do this activity, but you do need to book in advance. You can hire the service alone or with a package of activities that includes a cross-country skiing baptism, archery, a snowshoeing route and a snowmobile excursion.

Naturland’s Forest line
The new proposal in the Sant Julià adventure park is a zip line in the Rabassa forest with curves 7 metres above the ground and 500 metres long. It is suitable for children from 6 years old. It is located at 1,600 metres above sea level in Naturland and you can combine it with other activities such as Tobotronc, cross-country skiing, Airtrekk or snowshoeing.
This is certainly an ideal proposal for the whole family to enjoy the snow and nature in a different way.

Find the Tamarros of Andorra
Do you know the magical beings that live in Andorra and protect our forests and mountains? There are at least 7 hidden portals, one in each parish of the country, and they are activated with a stone. To find them you will have to follow the clues that you will be given at the tourist office with all the information.
The routes are easy to access and can be done at your own pace with children. Start with the Tamarro de Canillo, which is the closest to the hotel, and continue with the one in Encamp. If you don’t discover them all on this visit, you can always come back on other occasions 😉.

Which family activity sounds best to you? What is certain is that after a day of excitement, you will need to rest and celebrate Father’s Day with a good dinner at the Hotel del Tarter. Are you up for it?
