Excitement, jumps and a lot of speed in the Speed Skiing World Cup

One more year, one of the most impressive ski competition modalities returns to Grandvalira. From April 5 to 7, the ski area in the Grau-Roig sector will host for the third time the last races of the Speed Skiing World Cup.
We won’t miss it and we don’t want you to do it, and that’s why we explain you all the details of this event.

The slopes
The slope chosen to compete is La Riberal, located in the Grau Roig sector in Grandvalira. As in previous years, it will have a tower 10 meters high and of 18 meters of altitude that will serve skiers as a starting point. Thanks to this structure, they can reach speeds of around 200km / h.
Its 900 meters of lenght, together with its 450m braking area, make the Riberal the only slope in southern Europe ready to host such races.

The schedules
From April 5, get ready in your room at 200m from Grandvalira and head to the Riberal slope where you can watch the fastest skiers in the world fight for the cup.
