Vallnord – Pal Arinsal launches its ski season on the 3rd of December. We tell you what’s new.

Ski simulator for year-round skiing

Vallnord has presented a new virtual ski simulator, a product of Skytechsport. It offers you the chance to ski virtually all year round and improve your technique on a competition slope.

Improvements to make the most of the slopes

In the last years, Pal Arinsal has opted for the production of artificial snow to make the most of its ski area. This season it has reached 70% of the surface area with the installation of a new state-of-the-art cannon on the Planell and Comellada slopes.

On the other hand, in the Arinsal area, a new ski mountaineering route has been created out of the slopes, but without modifying the natural landscape. Finally, the Serra d’en Pal path leading to the Pla de la Cot has been illuminated.

New activities to enjoy the snow

Vallnord has added two new activities to its offer: MoonBikes, an electric motorbike circuit, and a Big AirBag, a 6-metre jumping platform with a reception mattress at the end, as well as a 1.5-km digital orienteering circuit in the resort of Pal.

The high altitude dinners deserve a special mention, with a new multi-sensory proposal that integrates elements such as music, art and projections. They will take place on Fridays at the Coll de la Botella restaurant.

Finally, the toboggan run has also been refurbished for the little ones, converting them into 2 slopes where they will have a great time.

Competitions are also back in Vallnord

This season the Mountain Ski World Cup will take place from 14 to 16 January 2022 and in summer the MTB Summer Cup and the Skyrace Compapedrosa.

Today we bring you the news from Vallnord and here you can find the news from Grandvalira that we told you about a few weeks ago.
