In Grandvalira you will find different options for skiing with children. From snow gardens to nurseries or specific programs, so that the little ones learn to ski while having a great time. This season you will be asked to ski more than ever.
Ski lessons for children
Ski lessons and programs are divided by age, your children can learn to ski from 3 years old. The groups are formed by children from 3 to 6 years old and from 6 to 11 years old. The younger ones can combine the snow garden with the Kids Program and choose whether to ski for half or all day. The older children can also combine the Kids Program but with group lessons in which they go skiing on the slopes. Each program is adapted to the ages of the children. You will find these programs in the six sectors of the ski area: Encamp, Grau roig, Pas de la Casa, El Tarter, Canillo and Soldeu.
Children’s snow circuits
And then there are the snow circuits where fun meets learning.
– Mon(t) Magic in Canillo: this is a classic for children from 3 to 8 years old. It has three different areas by levels, a thematic ski track and a daily activity program with animation and shows by the magic characters found in this park.
– Kids Forest: the novelty of the season. It is a ski circuit for children from 4 to 11 years old and snowboarding for children over 11 years old. It is held at the Encamp, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa resorts. Ski lessons are combined with snow activities such as snowmobiling and tubing, adapted to each age and level.
– Bababoom circus: it is a circuit decorated with motifs of the circus that is located right in El Tarter. In a fun way, children under 12 will learn skiing or snowboarding accompanied by an instructor or their parents.
– In the Soldeu sector you will find Yokai, which is also a new circuit that has been opened this season. Inspired by the local bird, children will have a great time skiing along its 646 meters.
And if you come with younger children from 1 to 3 years old, you can leave them in the nursery where they will play inside accompanied by monitors. In the meantime, you can continue to enjoy your favourite winter sport.
