Christmas has arrived in Andorra. Discover all the activities here!

The streets of Andorra are already lit up with Christmas decorations and lights. In spite of the circumstances, activities are carried out as in other years, but respecting the health regulations as much as possible as a prevention of the Covid. We tell you the most outstanding proposals that you can find in Andorra during the month of December.

The Christmas market in the capital

It’s already a classic! You can buy everything from articles to complete the Christmas decoration to local products made in Andorra. If you are looking for an original gift, you will not be disappointed with any of these: sausages, cheeses, honey… or soaps and natural cosmetics. There is also a food area where you can have a snack while you do your last Christmas shopping. New this year is a giant waterwheel located in the heart of Andorra la Vella and the travelling shows complete the range of activities on offer for the holidays.

The Three Wise Men and Santa Claus will pass through Andorra
As is traditional, Father Christmas and his majesties announce his arrival. Although this year there will be no big parades, they will all visit the country. Each parish organizes the arrival of the most beloved characters of the festivities, so that the children can hand them their letters full of gifts and good wishes. They can also leave them in the magic mailboxes or give them to the elves and the pages that will arrive a few days before.

In Canillo, the life-size nativity scene
Very close to the hotel you can see the largest Nativity scene in the country, with more than 200 life-size figures scattered throughout the village. The open-air itinerary will guide you through various scenes of the Nativity scene. It’s an ideal activity for young and old and a good occasion to discover Canillo.

Walk through the illuminated streets, discover what Andorra is hiding at Christmas and let yourself be surprised by its magic.

We wish you a Merry Christmas.
